The New York Jets’ head coach Adam Gase isn’t optimistic about tight end Chris Herndon’s availability Sunday after he injured his hamstring Friday.
Tough break: Chris Herndon, supposed to be back this week, has a hamstring injury. Did it Friday when running routes on his own. Gase didn’t sound optimistic about his chances of playing this week. #Jets

Fantasy Impact
This is a blow as Herndon was set to return from suspension and quickly become a stud fantasy tight end in New York with Sam Darnold returning. With Herndon set to likely miss Sunday, that means an uptick in Jamison Crowder and Robby Anderson. Also, fire up those Demaryius Thomas shares; he had NINE targets last week against the Eagles.
