The New York Jets, after flirting with the idea of bringing him back early, have ruled quarterback Sam Darnold out for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Not surprisingly, the #Jets have ruled QB Sam Darnold out for this week’s game. He got a lot of reps in practice, but the spleen did not do what Darnold wanted it to do. So, he waits.

Fantasy Impact
If Darnold was healthy, this would have been a nice getting back on track game for him as the Eagles secondary is terrible and he would’ve been able to pass all over it. Instead, all your Jets players rest in the hands of Luke Falk. And we’ve seen that to be, not great.
