Onto the mailbag:

Q: TE start help: Jonnu or Josh Hill PPR?
— @StillyRyan

A battle of the backups! And a tough battle at that as both these guys have amazing matchups playing the two worst defenses against tight ends this season. Obviously my first piece of advice would be constantly monitor injury news because if either Delanie Walker or Jared Cook suit up and play, both Jonnu Smith and Josh Hill instantly lose almost all their value.

Assuming both starting tight ends are out, I’d go with Jonnu. I’m all in on this Titans passing game under Ryan Tannehill and Smith will get his fair share of looks against a very very bad Bucs’ secondary.

Q: Should I trade Arron Rodgers for Patrick mahomes when I have josh Allen on my bench?
— Oscar R.

My first thought was to of course make the trade and sell high on Aaron Rodgers and try and get yourself last year’s real and fake football MVP Patrick Mahomes but then Andy Reid decided to one up his timeout management with how he’s been handling Mahomes’ injury. Mahomes is practicing—PRACTICING—less than a week after dislocating his knee cap. Reid is leaving the door open to if he’ll start or not his week and I hope he doesn’t because that would be stupid. I’m no NFL head coach/GM but it seems to me maybe you shouldn’t rush back the future of your franchise, and arguably the most exciting player in the sport right now, from an injury that, if it got worse, could alter Mahomes’ career trajectory. But hey, that’s just me.

Moral of the story: Rodgers and Matt LaFleur seem to be finally clicking and while I want to see one more game out of him before I anoint him “back”, I’d hold onto Rodgers and save yourself the worry that Mahomes might suddenly be reduced to a wheelchair soon by Andy Reid.

Update: Andy Reid has done the right thing and ruled Mahomes out for Sunday night.

Q: LAR d/st (vs Cin) or PITT d/st (vs Mia)?
— @afern401

Steelers defense by a mile. I understand that both the Bengals and Dolphins’ offenses are bad and that likely whatever defense you play against them will get you points. But only one of those teams is trying to actively lose games. Added bonus, the Steelers defense has actually been pretty good in recent weeks, tallying at least a sack, interception and fumble in two out of their last three games. I would expect them to take the Dolphins to task Sunday.

Q: Suppose you are playing the consistently high scorer in your league. Do you a) play a bunch of wideouts to try to catch lightning or b) play 3 TEs for maximum shame when their team makes a crucial mistake?
— @andrew_schuba

MAXIMUM SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
