The Detroit Lions placed running back Kerryon Johnson on injured reserve Tuesday with a knee injury.

Wow, I guess this knee injury is pretty serious. I have yet to really see anything exactly diagnosing what the injury actually is but still, it’s bad enough it needed surgery and time on IR. There’s a chance Johnson could be brought back later in the season, but for now, the Lions will be without their number one back. Time to buy all the Ty Johnson—the incumbent starter—and Marvin Jones stock you can as I would expect this offense because a little more pass happy in the coming weeks.
