The Kansas City Chiefs got some good news today as Patrick Mahomes’ MRI came back showing a dislocated kneecap but no structural damage. He is expected to miss a couple of weeks but will play this season.
The MRI has confirmed the #Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes suffered a dislocated kneecap, but not significant additional damage, sources tell me and @JamesPalmerTV. He’ll seek additional opinions to be sure. The plan is for him to return this season after a brief absence.

Fantasy Impact
Obviously any missed time still sucks for fantasy owners, but it seems a) Mahomes will play again this season and b) might come back fully recovered from both his knee and ankle injury. He didn’t look the same while playing with the latter, so maybe a couple of weeks off will heal everything and then he’ll be back to the 50-touchdown Mahomes we all know and love.
