NFL picks: Week 3

The biggest upset of Week 2 was the Colts beating the team from Washington which all of us unanimously picked to win. Big swing and a miss there on our parts. We didn’t have any ledge picks last week but shoutout to Mark and Clark who were the only two to think the Dolphins would beat the Jets. I can’t believe I was duped into the Jets for a week. This is a low moment for me.

Also I’m ignoring the Vikings vs Packers tie, just pretending like that game didn’t happen.

Here are our standings after two weeks of action. You’ll notice I’m still holding onto the top spot along with Heath. No biggy.

Unanimous picks: Vikings over Bills, Chiefs over 49ers, Jaguars over Titans, Bears over Cardinals, Patriots over Lions

Ledge picks: Giants over Texans (Paddi), Washington over Packers (Paddi), Raiders over Dolphins (Mark)

Have you started noticing which teams we all have no faith in? Bills, Titans, Cardinals and Lions top that list, while we all just clearly believe the 49ers will fall to the red hot Chiefs. If any team of this group is going to go against our pick, it’s the 49ers. They’re actually a good football team.

Paddi has decided to get himself some beach front property and build his house on the ledge. After no ledge picks last week, we’ve got three, two of which are coming from Paddi. Now Paddi last year did boast the best win percentage so dude knows his stuff. He might be onto something with the Giants taking down the Texans. I still need to see something from Deshaun Watson that reminds us all why we were so hyped about him heading into this year.

Most of us like the Saints over the Falcons, but I think that could be the game of the weekend. Both teams have high powered offenses and defenses that leave a bit to be desired. Wouldn’t be surprised to see that won in the final minutes thanks to some absurd play by either Julio Jones, Michael Thomas or Alvin Kamara.
