Tournament Information
A Military Tribute at the Greenbrier
Date: July 5th – 8th
Course: Greenbrier Old White TPC
Purse: $7.3MM ($1.3MM)
FedEx points: 500 to the winner
2017 Winner: Xander Schauffele
Course: Old White TPC. This 7,287 yard part 70 course as designed in 1914 by Charles MacDonald. It is a unique course ending with a par 3 and encompasses a great water hole just prior to that (hole 17) which is always fun to watch.
Starting 4
Jamie Lovemark (2nd selection this year) He finished 3rd here last year, he’s been ok lately with two top 20 finishes in his last four tournaments. 12th in strokes gained around the green.
Webb Simpson (3rd selection this year). I find this hilarious – here are his last 5 tournaments: 21st, 1st, MC, 10th, MC. Talk about sinking or swimming. He finished 14th here last year,
How good is this from Webb Simpson! An eagle at 11 gets him to -19 and he's now eight shots ahead. pic.twitter.com/03n4LYRRSB

Robert Streb (1st selection this year). I’m selecting a guy who has missed three consecutive cuts and six in his last 10. Why oh why would I select the golfer who is 191st in strokes gained off the tee. He has finished 2nd here in 2017 and 2015.
Russell Henley (2nd selection this year). His last five tournaments are showing a very positive trend: MC, 58th, 29th, 25th, 6th. He finished 5th here in 2017 and 2015. He’s 27th in strokes gained approaching the green and 22nd in greens in regulation percentage.
Russell Henley is playing on a Sunday in a featured group and tied for 6th, but you can’t even watch him play. Every time it’s his shot they change to someone else. It’s ridiculous. He may not be a huge name, but he is getting there and playing really well... yeah, I’m mad!

Bench 2
Danny Lee (3rd selection this year). I’m 1 for 1 on getting Danny right. He is one of two golfers with two top ten finishes in 2015 and 2017 here (cancelled due to flooding in 2016). Even still he’s sitting on the bench just in case.
David Hearn (1st selection this year). 2nd here in 2015 and 14th in 2017. He has three missed cuts a 10th place and 41st place finish in his last five tournaments. This one is definitely a gamble.
It's early, but Brantford's David Hearn is atop the PGA Tour leaderboard in Maryland:https://t.co/QnnSefYWXT#brantford #local #sports #golf @BrantfordGolfCC @BGCCgolfshop pic.twitter.com/s0Nh4j1Riv
