Free Agency frenzy is under way! Just one day into Free Agency for the NBA and NHL there have been a plethora of moves. Wimbledon starts up today, the World Cup is half way through the round of 16,
NBA (Free Agency began July 1st)
· LeBron James signs a four year $153MM deal with Los Angeles Lakers
· DeAndre Jordan joins the Mavericks on a one year deal
· Nikola Jokic signs a five year $148MM deal with the Denver Nuggets
· Kevin Durant signs a two year $61MM deal with the Golden State Warriors
· Chris Paul signs a four year $160MM deal with the Houston Rockets
· Paul George agrees to a four year $137MM deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder
· Kawahi Leonard and DeMarcus Cousins two of the biggest unsigned Free Agents.

NHL (Free Agency began July 1st)
· James Neal signed a five year deal with the Calgary Flames
· The Sabres traded Ryan O’Reilly to the Blues for Tage Thompson, Vladimir Sobotka, Patrik Berglund, a first round 2019 pick and 2nd round 2021 pick.
· John Tavares signs a seven year, $77MM deal with the Toronto Maple Leafs
· Ryan McDonagh signs a seven year $47MM deal with the Tampa Bay Lightning
· James van Riemsdyk signs a five year $35MM deal with the Philadelphia Flyers (he comes back to where he was drafted)
· Logan Couture signs eight year extension with San Jose Sharks.
· Erik Karlsson and Max Pacioretty remain two of the top names still undecided.

· North Carolina Courage are very much alone atop the Womens soccer standings they have 50% more points then the 2ndplace team.
· Christine Sinclair (Portland Throns FC) leads the league with goals (7) and assists (5)
· All-Star selections are in for the 2018 MLS All Star game (August 1st)
· Columbus Crew topped Real Salt Lake, Atlanta FC shut out Orlando City SC and Portland topped the Sounders. The West is a battle at the top between Sporting Kansas City, FC Dallas and Los Angeles FC while in the East Atlanta United has a hefty lead.
· Josef Martinez scored this weekend and continues to lead the league with 15 goals.
Tennis – Wimbledon starts up today
· Just about all of the top seeds are playing today, Federer and Serena are the favorites.
· Roger Federer took the French Open off to help prepare for Wimbledon

· It was Franceso Molinari’s first ever PGA Tour win and it was done in commanding fashion, by 8 shots.

NASCAR – Kyle Busch wins at Chicagoland
· Busch and Kyle Larson battled it out over the final five laps with Larson nudging out the lead for a small part of the final lap before Busch regained it and took the checkered flag.
· Busch stands atop the Monster Energy Cup standings with 736 points and 5 wins this season.
Boxing
· Gilberto Ramirez held on to the super middleweight title beating Alexis Angulo by points
· Alex Saucedo beat Lenny Zappavigna in 7 rounds
