First, if you haven’t had a chance, Brian Creagh had a great breakdown earlier this week with some excellent DraftKings picks, you can read that here: I really like Luke List to rally off a good Memorial and do well again. He was the last cutoff on my picks below.
Tournament Information
Fedex St. Jude Classic
Date: June 7 – 10
Course: TPC Southwind
Purse: $6.6MM ($1.2MM to the winner)
FedEx points: 500 to the winner
2017 Winner: Daniel Berger (-10)
Course: TPC Southwind -€” Established in 1988, this 7,240 yard part 70 course was designed by Ron Prichard. One of the more woodsy courses, the Memphis prize has a bucolic mixture of trees, rivers, lakes and wildlife. It is known most for it’s 11th hole which mimics the 17th island green at TPC Sawgrass. Accuracy means much more than power and distance at Southwind.
Starting 4
Daniel Berger (2nd selection this year). So I know EVERY SINGLE PERSON is going to be picking him but coming off back to back wins, it’s the gimme pick.
Phil Mickelson (4th selection this year). The ONLY golfer to finish in the top ten each of the last 3 years here. Currently fifth in the Fedex ranking and top 15 finishes in six of the last fifteen races with only one missed cut and two finishes above 25 over that time.
The most important shot is the next one.

Billy Horschel (1st selection this year). Two top ten finishes over the last three years here. He has two top fifteen finishes over his last five tournaments and he is 29th in strokes gained off the tee and 27thin strokes gained putting.
Brooks Koepka (1st selection this year). He had top three finishes here in 2015 and 2016 before a 37thplace finish last year. Since returning at Zurich Classic of New Orleans in late April he missed the cut, then finshed 42nd at Wells Fargo in the next tournament, he improved to 11th at the Players Championship before a second place finish at the Fort Worth Invitational two weeks ago.

Bench 2
Matt Jones (2nd selection this year). Top thirty finishes each of the last three years here and he’s improved drastically as of late with back to back top 20 finishes after a bunch of missed cuts earlier this year.
Chad Campbell (1st selection this year). Two top ten finishes over his last three years here and a 34th place in the other year. Not a great track record this year with three missed cuts over the last five starts but I’m trusting on his experience here to offset that much like David Lingmerth did last week and Danny Lee did two weeks ago.
