The Ding Dong Challenge: A good week for Freddie Freeman

And obviously Mike Trout. Sign up for Week 10!

USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to the Ding Dong Challenge, a game were we try and correctly predict who will hit the most home runs in a given week, keep score throughout the entire season and win a free, awesome t-shirt. Here’s last week’s report card and this week’s list of “elites”. If you want to play, just pick one player from the “elites” and two players from the “everyone else” category (which is just everyone who’s not elite), then list your team in the comments. The sooner you create your team, the better as you only get the homers from when your team is posted till the end of the week.

I’ll be the gracious host to start this week off welcoming and congratulating Wallstreet1975 and Brian Creagh for both getting in on the action and performing very well this week. Also big congrats to Sixtus for winning and Shaney for keeping their games strong. Mike Trout deserves a cap nod as well and so does Marcell Ozuna. Really everyone gets an ol’ tip of the cap except for

Sweet Brady what the flipping burgers happened? Just Dingers at least knocked me one but Cody Belldinger was a Bell-letdown while I’ve now just given up all hope that Charlie Blackmon will hit a ball that even sniffs the wall. Just not going to happen. Also watching the X-man go yard three times this week and J.D. gave me a measly dinger was wildly upsetting.

Good to see Freddie Freeman has returned to the land of the Dingers. Good for you buddy.

For those who like to live in the past, here’s last week’s perfect lineup:

Elite: Mike Trout (4)
Everyone Else 1: Marcell Ozuna (4)
Everyone Else 2: Evan Gattis (4)
