The first pick of the 2018 NFL Draft has had a couple of variations in the last couple of weeks. Initially, it was widely regarded that the Browns would take Sam Darnold at No. 1 and the football world would applaud them for not Browns-ing it up. Then rumors surfaced that the Browns were eyeballing Josh Allen at No. 1 which is the definition of Browns-ing it up. Now it sounds like the Browns are leaning towards Baker Mayfield with the first overall pick, which I’m not totally against and in fact actually kinda like. (I’m a big fan of Mayfield’s on the field antics and think his desire to win will help guide a rudderless Browns franchise.)
Moral of the story: no one has any idea who the Browns will take with the first overall pick.
But, what if you were John Dorsey and had the first overall pick. Which quarterback would you take first overall? Would you even take a quarterback? Let me know your thoughts.
