Rank Quarterback Team Opponent High-Floor/High-Ceiling QB1s
Patrick Mahomes KC BAL He's matchup-proof.
Drew Brees NO at NO The biggest concern is that he scores too many times and takes a seat in the 3rd.
Ben Roethlisberger PIT at OAK Stellar matchup.
Mitchell Trubisky CHI LAR Assuming he can play, he'll be integral in the Bears gameplan as Chicago tries to keep pace with the Rams.
Philip Rivers LAC CIN There are sexier options but Rivers is on fire and Cincy always does its best to help its opponents score.
Andrew Luck IND at HOU He put up a dud last week but we can trust him to bounce back in this divisional matchup.
Cam Newton CAR at CLE Serious questions abound regarding Cam's shoulder health. We'll need to monitor the situation.
Jameis Winston TB NO A great matchup and a great supporting cast.
Deshaun Watson HOU IND A likely firefight will lead to multi-TD days for both signal-callers.
Lamar Jackson BAL at KC There's a strong possibility that we see a ceiling game out of Jackson in this projected high-scoring affair.
Aaron Rodgers GB ATL He's been tough to trust but a date with Atlanta and Mike McCarthy's ousting should get him back on track.
Jared Goff LAR at CHI The tough opponent drops him this low.
High-Floor/High-Ceiling QB2s
Josh Allen BUF NYJ I wanted to rank him higher. His rushing floor is sky-high and he's coming off back-to-back Top 5 QB finishes.
Russell Wilson SEA MIN RW's been rock-solid as of late.
Matt Ryan ATL at GB Shootout alert.
Baker Mayfield CLE CAR Carolina's defense is one to target for the fantasy home stretch.
Dak Prescott DAL PHI Philly's charitable secondary comin' in hot!
Case Keenum DEN at SF A beautiful matchup. It's possible Keenum should be ranked higher.
Nick Mullens SF DEN Denver's injury-ravaged secondary should be beatable for the fill-in signal-caller.
High-Floor/Capped Ceiling QB2s
Tom Brady NE at MIA Miami's pushover defense will likely be pulverized via NE's running game, rather than its passing.
Kirk Cousins MIN at SEA Thielen keeps Cousins as a QB that might not lose the matchup for you, but he might not win it either.
Carson Wentz PHI at DAL This Eagles offense hasn't yet found its identity.
Low-Floor/Low-Ceiling QB2s
Ryan Tannehill MIA NE Miami will be forced to play keep-up which should improve Tannehill's prospects. Not enough to be a solid starter though.
Derek Carr OAK PIT Pittsburgh's offensive ineptitude bodes well for the Carr/Cook combo.
Marcus Mariota TEN JAX Bad matchup but he's better than the QB3 options?
QB3s
Matthew Stafford DET at ARI Oh how the mediocre have fallen.
Eli Manning NYG at WAS As always, counting on Beckham, who will be eager to posterize the loud-mouthed Josh Norman.
Josh Rosen ARI DET It's a manageable matchup for the developing rookie.
Sam Darnold NYJ at BUF Darnold will have to find success in the flats. The Bills' secondary shouldn't be tested.
Cody Kessler JAX at TEN Try to avoid this situation.
Jeff Driskel CIN at LAC Driskel comes in at 31 because he isn't Mark Sanchez.
Mark Sanchez WAS NYG A joke about handoffs.
