Week 17 Bold Predictions: Tom Brady Finishes Strong

The AFC East Matchups have me very intrigued

NFL: Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports

Prediction 1: Tom Brady has his third best week of the year against the Jets

Justification: He threw for just 120 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions last week against the Bills. Anyone who knows his competitive nature knows he will surely rebound for a big week to prove the doubters wrong this week.

Prediction 2: The current line is Buff -5.5, give me Miami with the upset

Justification: Miami had a rough loss to Jacksonville last week, Buffalo had a huge win over New England, I see Miami coming in with more fight in this matchup and pulling off the win on the road.

Prediction 3: Michael Thomas is projected as a top three WR, he will fall outside the top twenty five.

Justification: New Orleans has locked in their playoff spot and I see them laying off the accelerator a bit in this one. I anticipate they run the ball more, throw less and try to ride out the clock. I wouldn’t be surprised if some starters are benched late in the third or fourth quarter.

Prediction 4: Ezekiel Elliot doesn’t rush for 100 yards for the first time in nine games

Justification: Week 17’s are weird, Ezekiel will play but in a free for all I could see him sitting more or not being as hungry as other weeks.

Prediction 5: Atlanta Falcons D/ST is projected at 21st, they will be a top 12 D/ST.

Justification: The last two weeks they have played very well with a combined 9 sacks and 5 interceptions over those two games. I expect some more during the last week of the year.
