Fantasy Football Rankings: Wide receivers for Week 16

Ranking the best wide receivers by matchup and opportunity for Week 16 of the 2018 NFL Season.

NFL: Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

For many fantasy football managers, Week 15 of the 2019 NFL season never happened. The Men In Black — according to eyewitness accounts — wiped the memories of a bevy of fantasy players across America. It’s good that they did; having to deal with performances like Adam Thielen catching two passes in a game where his team scored 41 points and Keenan Allen being ruled out of bounds on what would’ve been a spectacular touchdown and exiting for the rest of the game might’ve caused some serious aftermath health problems.

Thankfully, I wasn’t part of that group. All I had to do was sit back and watch Alvin Kamara eliminate two of my teams from the playoffs — one of which featured the outstanding duo of Phillip Lindsay (6.4 points) and Zach Ertz (3.7), while the other couldn’t hold on to a 27-point lead against Kamara and Christian McCaffrey because Curtis Samuel and Wil Lutz ended up on milk cartons after the first quarter.

Enough of my complaining, though. Hopefully, you made the championship and are in a good position to win some money and/or some bragging rights. Let’s get to what looks like an unpredictable wide receiver position this week.
