Three quarterbacks to stream for Week 15

Recommended QB adds for Week 15 of the 2018 NFL Season.

NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers at Oakland Raiders Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

Josh Allen, BUF QB (vs. DET)

14% owned in Yahoo! Leagues, 16.9% owned in ESPN Leagues

Josh Allen needs to be owned in 100% of leagues at this point. We talked about him last week because his rushing floor is on a different level from anyone else. The rookie signal-caller hung 101 rushing yards and a touchdown on the Jets last week at a rate 11.2 YPC. He added 206 yards through the air — along with 2 picks and a lost fumble. A rushing floor like his though, compensates for his turnover-prone nature. He failed to finish as a Top 5 QB for the third consecutive week, coming in as the QB14. However, his 18.3 points were only 2.5 behind QB6 Patrick Mahomes. Stop sleeping on Josh Allen -- the floor is there -- and he’s got a cake matchup at home against the Detroit Lions this week. Fire him up as a confident QB1.

Lamar Jackson, BAL QB (vs. TB)

45% owned in Yahoo! Leagues, 49.6% owned in ESPN Leagues

With his availability status up in the air due to a hard hit late in last week’s game, we should exercise caution and make sure to have a backup plan -- perhaps the aforementioned (and highly available) Josh Allen. Jackson’s ownership percentage is still far too low. His rushing floor keeps him in the QB1 discussion week-in and week-out and this week he faces off with the Tampa Bay Ball-Of-Garbage defense. This team has been getting lit up through the air all season long and we have every reason to believe that, should Jackson play, this would be his strongest performance to date. Add him now.

Derek Carr, OAK QB (@ CIN)

19% owned in Yahoo! Leagues, 10.6% owned in ESPN Leagues

Carr’s coming off back-to-back standout finishes over the last two weeks and there’s reason to expect he continues his fantasy-fruitful ways. This week he squares off with the Cincinnati Bengals’ atrocious defense. Cincy’s been getting lit on fire by opposing offenses and given Derek Carr’s recent success, we can expect the bulk of this week’s gameplan to rest on his right arm. He’s a solid QB2 play.
