Rank Quarterback Team Opponent High-Floor/High-Ceiling QB1s
Rank Quarterback Team Opponent High-Floor/High-Ceiling QB1s
Patrick Mahomes KC at OAK He could have 4 TDs by halftime.
Cam Newton CAR at TB The emergence of D.J. Moore lines up well with a matchup against one of the league's worst pass defenses.
Jared Goff LAR at DET Similar to Mahomes, Goff could be sitting pretty by halftime in this Conference matchup.
Andrew Luck IND at JAX Luck hasn't thrown fewer than 3 TDs since Week 3.
Lamar Jackson BAL at ATL Jackson gets a paper-towel pass defense to toy with on top of his monstrous rushing floor.
Drew Brees NO at DAL An away game on a short week drops Brees to the lowly rank of QB6. He's a beast.
Deshaun Watson HOU CLE Watson has now shown chemistry with the newly acquired Demaryius Thomas and he just posted his best rushing line of the year.
Russell Wilson SEA SF The Seahawks were forced out of their game plan and had to trust their franchise quarterback last week… and by golly he responded! This is a great matchup for Brees 2.0.
Ben Roethlisberger PIT LAC The Steelers offense is matchup proof.
Philip Rivers LAC at PIT Fresh off a record-setting performance, Rivers will keep the Chargers offense humming as Melvin Gordon recovers from his MCL injury.
Aaron Rodgers GB ARI Emphasis on "High-Floor".
Baker Mayfield CLE at HOU It's a tough matchup but Mayfield's on fire.
High-Floor/High-Ceiling QB2s
Kirk Cousins MIN at NE Cousins has a nice matchup to keep him on the QB1/QB2 fringe.
Tom Brady NE MIN With Xavier Rhodes hurt, Brady's day just got a little easier.
Jameis Winston TB CAR Winston could finish much higher than the QB15 this week. The only thing holding him back is Dirk Koetter's afinity for playing musical chairs at the quarterback position.
Dak Prescott DAL NO Here's hoping the bad version of the Saints offense shows up. If they do, Dak could easily finish Top 12 with his rushing floor.
Low-Floor/High-Ceiling QB2s
Case Keenum DEN at CIN The matchup puts Keenum at the top of this tier.
Matthew Stafford DET LAR It's a great matchup, Stafford's just been so rough as of late.
Derek Carr OAK KC A matchup-based ranking.
Josh Allen BUF at MIA If he keeps his rushing floor going, he can put up serious points.
Matt Ryan ATL BAL It's a tough spot but Ryan's got Julio.
Marcus Mariota TEN NYJ A boom/bust QB in a mid-tier matchup.
Carson Wentz PHI WAS Philly will look to control the game via Josh Adams, not Carson Wentz
Chase Daniel CHI at NYG Matchup and weapons place him atop the QB3 ranks.
Colt McCoy WAS at PHI The matchup puts Colt atop the QB3 tier.
Eli Manning NYG CHI Will the Chicago sack total surpass Odell receptions?
Cody Kessler JAX IND Kessler has a quietly stout receiving corps but he's hampered by a low-volume of work.
Ryan Tannehill MIA BUF Fingers-crossed for Dumpoff City.
Josh McCown NYJ at TEN McCown will need his teammates to carry him.
Josh Rosen ARI at GB Hopefully the Packers defense has just given up at this point.
Nick Mulles SF at SEA The Mullens Hype has died.
Jeff Driskel CIN DEN Driskel's hope is the long-ball.
