Rank Quarterback Team Opponent High-Floor/High-Ceiling QB1s
Patrick Mahomes KC CIN 2018's QB1 retains the top spot.
Andy Dalton CIN at KC Look for The Red Rifle to come out firing in Kansas City this weekend.
Jared Goff LAR at SF Goff will put on a show in Santa Clara.
Matt Ryan ATL NYG Matt Ryan's a Top 5 QB with a Monday Night Primetime matchup on deck.
Tom Brady NE at CHI A tough matchup but the Pats offense will get it done.
Cam Newton CAR at PHI Cam's on a roll -- and should continue his fruitful fantasy ways even in a tough matchup.
Philip Rivers LAC TEN Look for Rivers to target Malcolm Butler all day long.
Drew Brees NO at BAL It's a tough matchup but… it's Drew Brees.
Kirk Cousins MIN at NYJ Cousins could hit Thielen for 200 yards against the Jets' non-existant slot coverage.
Carson Wentz PHI CAR Wentz is back.
Andrew Luck IND BUF Buffalo has played stout pass defense, however, Luck's short-field passing game should function as an extension of the run game -- something Buffalo has struggled to contain.
Jameis Winston TB CLE The Bucs passing game is likely matchup-proof with OC Todd Monken working his magic.
High-Floor/High-Ceiling QB2s
Mitchell Trubisky CHI NE The offense is firing on all cylinders and the matchup is there for fantasy goodness.
Joe Flacco BAL NO Flacco will be forced to throw early and often to try to keep pace with Brees' Saint-ly Offense.
Baker Mayfield CLE at TB This should be Mayfield's coming out party -- TB is the worst pass defense the NFL has to offer.
Lower-Floor/High-Ceiling QB2s
Deshaun Watson HOU at JAX Watson will need the magic of his rushing prowess to stay alive in this matchup. Fingers crossed for sandlot football.
Sam Darnold NYJ MIN Minnesota's defense has been surprisingly giving to all quarterbacks not named Josh Rosen.
Eli Manning NYG at ATL Given ATL's injury woes and their inability to stop pass-catching RBs, I expect Barkley's receiving production to buoy Eli's day.
Matthew Stafford DET at MIA Depending on which version of the Miami defense shows up, Stafford could deserve to be a lot higher on this list.
Low-Floor/Capped-Ceiling QB2s
Alex Smith WAS DAL Chris Thompson's presumed return gives Smith his go-to passing game option back.
Marcus Mariota TEN at LAC TEN was unable to keep Mariota upright last week, however, Dr. Chao noted that Mariota was able to shed his throwing glove.
Blake Bortles JAX HOU The All-time Boom or Bust QB will need his rushing floor against the Texans' dominant defensive front.
Dak Prescott DAL at WAS Dak found his legs last week. Let's hope he remembers them again against Washington.
C.J. Beathard SF LAR Beathard has played well thus far. This is a tough matchup though.
QB3s
Case Keenum DEN at ARI Now that Emmanuel Sanders is being utilized in the redzone, Keenum has a chance to register 1-2 passing TDs.
Brock Osweiler MIA DET Osweiler checked-down his way to fantasy success last week. Let's see if he can do it again.
Josh Rosen ARI DEN Denver's secondary is vulnerable to the deep ball. Rosen and Kirk might be able to take advantage of that… also, they might not.
Derek Anderson BUF at IND Happy for Derek that he's getting a game check.
