Notes:
- Clearly DraftKings and myself really like Derrick Henry this weekend. At his FanDuel price, I have a hard time saying no to him, especially when he’s facing a very average Patriots defense this week. I know the Patriots will likely work to take Henry out of the equation and force Mariota to beat them, but as Clark always says, Henry seems to be forgotten at least once a game, and he’ll exploit that into a 50+ yard touchdown.
- I wanted to put Fournette higher because I think he could have big game against the Steelers if all goes according to the Jaguars’ plan, but he showed me nothing against the Bills to make me supremely confident heading into this showdown.
- I like Devonta Freeman a lot this weekend at his price.
- I wish Dion Lewis was still a well kept secret.
- Put LeGarrette Blount ahead of Jay Ajayi because a) price but b) I could see the Eagles running Blount the bowling ball this week against the Falcons’ fast but undersized linebackers. It might be a big Blount game.
- Stevan Ridley is at the end of this list just because I could see him either stealing a touchdown or Le’Veon Bell goes down for a stretch of time and Ridley comes in as his replacement.
