Swarming MLB: AI Picks for September 5th

UNU, MLB

The UNU Baseball Swarm has been on a bit of a hot run of late. Last week’s two swarm sessions yielded a 20-8 record, including a Friday result where six of our seven top rated listed picks – and both “Best Bets” were winners. That Friday result also included a narrow win in one of the most divided swarm answers we’ve gotten all season.

For this Tuesday’s schedule, one of the most interesting games for the swarm to consider has the Houston Astros playing at Seattle. This game will mark the first Astro start for longtime Detroit Tigers Ace Justin Verlander. The combination of Verlander pitching and the return from injury for MVP candidate Carlos Correa has the swarm attaching multiple levels of confidence to their prediction of a Houston win.

The other fascinating swarm prediction is their choice of Arizona over the Dodgers tonight in Los Angeles. The UNU Swarm is plenty used to making the Dodgers their pick of the night, but they obviously have noticed the way Los Angeles has struggled in the last two weeks. Arizona has been the opposite of a struggling team in that same span. They’ve won 10 straight games and have put a stranglehold on the first National League wildcard spot. There’s no fluke at all to the swarm’s pick here, either. They went for Arizona with a lot of cohesion and converged on this pick very effectively.
