  • Carlos Carrasco pitched an absolute gem as the Indians beat the Twins 5-2. He went 8.1 shutout innings allowing just 6 hits. He had 14 strikeouts in the win. Carrasco joins Corey Kluber, Clayton Kershaw, and Jason Vargas with a league leading 18th win of the year. He also finishes his 2017 campaign with a 3.29 ERA and 1.10 WHIP.
  • Giancarlo Stanton launched a pair of homers in a Marlins win over the Braves. He was 3 for 4 in the game with 3 runs scored and 3 RBI. Stanton leads the majors with 59 HR on the year. He also has 129 RBI and a league leading .636 SLG.
  • The Astros offense and Carlos Correa had another big day in a 12-2 win against the Red Sox. Correa went 4 for 4 with a 2-run HR. He was a triple shy of the cycle and finished with 3 runs and 3 RBI total. Correa has 24 HR and 84 RBI on the year. Houston has now scored 49 runs over the past 4 games.
  • Sean Manaea pitched well in a win over the Rangers. The Athletics starter tossed 6.2 innings giving up 1 unearned run. He also allowed 3 hits, issued 3 walks, and struck out 6. Manaea's up and down 2017 ends with a 12-10 record and 4.37 ERA for the season. Blake Treinen pitched a scoreless 9th inning for a save. He has a 2.19 ERA and 12 saves since joining the Athletics.
  • Nicholas Castellanos was 2 for 4 with a 3-run double in a Tigers win against the Royals. He is now hitting .274 on the season with 99 RBI.
