  • Rafael Devers went 2 for 4 with a solo HR in a Red Sox win over the Reds. Devers finished with 2 RBI in the game. The 20-year-old is hitting .303 with 10 HR and 26 RBI over 51 games this season. Mookie Betts was 1 for 4 with a 3-run double. Betts has 99 RBI on the year.
  • Trea Turner had a 2-run HR in a close win for Nationals. Turner is now batting .281 with 11 HR 45 RBI and 42 SB this year. Max Scherzer was solid in the win. He went 6 innings allowing 1 run on 3 hits with 10 Ks. For the Mets, Jacob deGrom tossed 6 innings allowing 5 hits and 3 runs (2 earned). He had 11 strikeouts on the day.
  • Chris Archer had a tough day in a start against the Orioles. He allowed 6 runs on 8 hits over just 3.2 innings of work. He had just 2 Ks as well. Archer is now 9-12 on the year with a 4.22 ERA. Chris Davis was 1 for 3 with 2 RBI. He also had his 1st SB of the season.
  • Lucas Giolito was great in a White Sox win against the Royals. He went 7 innings allowing 5 hits and 1 run while striking out 5. Giolito lowered his season ERA to 2.38 over his 7 starts this year. Avisail Garcia was 2 for 4 with a 2-run HR. He finished with 2 runs and 3 RBI in the win. Garcia is hitting .331 with 18 HR and 80 RBI this season.
  • Jose Quintana threw a complete game shutout against the Brewers. He allowed just 3 hits (all singles) while striking out 10. Quintana is now 7-3 with a 3.50 ERA since joining the Cubs.
