  • Matt Olson was 1 for 3 with a 2-run HR in a win against the Tigers. He finished with 2 runs scored as well. Olson has now homered in 4 straight games. The Athletics slugger has 14 homers over the past 20 games and 22 HR in total since being called up from the minors back in June.
  • Brett Gardner was 3 for 4 with a pair of stolen bases in a Yankees win over the Twins. Gardner is hitting .262 with 20 HR and 22 SB this year.
  • Ryan Braun went 2 for 3 with a solo HR in a Brewers win over the Pirates. He also had a steal. Braun is batting .275 with 17 HR and 12 SB over 93 games this year.
  • Aaron Altherr was 1 for 3 with a grand slam in a Phillies win over the Dodgers. The 4-run HR came against Clayton Kershaw. It was the first grand slam Kershaw had allowed in his career. Altherr has 17 HR and 55 RBI on the year.
  • Mookie Betts was 2 for 6 with a double and 4 RBI in a Red Sox win over the Orioles. Betts is hitting .263 with 22 HR 94 RBI and 93 runs this season.
