  • Stephen Strasburg tossed 8 shutout innings in a win against the Phillies. He allowed just 2 hits while striking out 10. Strasburg is now 13-4 on the year with a 2.64 ERA. Trea Turner went 2 for 4 with a triple and a solo HR. He finished with 2 runs scored. Turner is hitting .280 with 9 HR and 39 SB this season.
  • Aaron Judge and Gary Sanchez brought their power bats in a 16-7 Yankees win over the Rangers. Both sluggers had 2 HR games. Judge finished 2 for 2 with 3 RBI and also drew a walk. Judge is hitting .277 on the year with 41 HR and 107 runs scored. Sanchez finished 3 for 4 with 4 runs scored. Sanchez has 30 HR and 83 RBI on the season.
  • Jose Abreu had a big game in a White Sox win over the Giants. Abreu was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 3 RBI. Abreu is hitting .302 on the season with 31 HR and 90 RBI. It was a rare off day for Madison Bumgarner. He allowed 10 hits and 6 runs over 5 innings of work. His season ERA is now at 3.55.
  • Michael Wacha tossed 8 shutout innings in a Cardinals win over the Pirates. He allowed just 5 hits while striking out 7. Wacha improved to 12-7 on the year with a 3.99 ERA. Yadier Molina went 2 for 3 with a 3-run HR. He finished with 5 RBI in the win. Molina is hitting .280 with 17 HR and 72 RBI.
  • J.A. Happ went 6 innings in a win over the Tigers. The Blue Jays starter allowed 5 hits and 2 runs (1 earned run) while striking out 9. Happ is now 8-10 on the year with a 3.73 ERA.
