  • Charlie Blackmon was 3 for 4 with a solo home run in a Rockies win over the Mets. Blackmon also doubled and had 2 runs scored. He is hitting .330 with 25 HR and 97 runs scored this season. Greg Holland pitched a scoreless inning with 2 strikeouts and ended up with a win. He came on during a tie game and the Rockies scored an inning later via a walk off walk! Holland recently cut his finger in a kitchen accident so it is a good sign to see him back on the mound.
  • Paul Goldschmidt had a monster day in a Diamondbacks win over the Cubs. He was 3 for 4 with 3 home runs and 6 RBI. The fantasy star also had 4 runs scored. Goldschmidt continues to be one of the best players in fantasy. He is hitting .320 with 25 HR 85 RBI and 86 runs scored. Willson Contreras hit 2 home runs in the loss. The Cubs catcher finished 3 for 5 with 6 RBI. He has 18 HR and 65 RBI on the year.
  • Starling Marte was 3 for 5 with a double and 3 runs scored in a Pirates win over the Reds. Marte has 13 runs scored and 5 steals in 15 games since returning from suspension. Chad Kuhl tossed 7 scoreless innings with 6 Ks. He has a 3.30 ERA since June 7.
  • Corey Kluber was dominant in an Indians win over the Yankees. Kluber tossed a complete game allowing just 3 hits and 1 run. He struck out 11 in the win. He became the 4th pitcher in MLB history with 12 straight games of at least 8 strikeouts. The other 3? Randy Johnson, Pedro Martinez, and Nolan Ryan. Pretty impressive list!
  • Andrew Benintendi went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored. He also had 1 RBI and a steal. Benintendi is hitting .268 with 12 HR 10 SB and 55 RBI. Mookie Betts and Rafael Devers each had 2-run homers in the win. Devers is hitting .406 with 3 HR in his 1st 8 big league games. Amazing to think he is still just 20 years old.
