Brett Kollmann, who writes at SB Nation’s Houston Texans site (Battle Red Blog) , also does fantastic work on his YouTube channel breaking down NFL film. His latest Film Room breakdown is of Miami Dolphins’ running back Jay Ajayi.

Ajayi is a popular name in fantasy circles after coming off a “breakout” season in which he ran for 200 yards in three different games. However—and this is why I put breakout in quotes—Ajayi also had games last season in which he struggled mightily. He’s been a running back that many are struggling to predict what his 2017 season will look like. Personally, I think he’s going to underperform his ADP. A lot of his rushing success last year was built on only three games and I don’t think that performance will be able to be spread across an entire season.
But, if you’re still unsure as to what to do with Ajayi, watch the video above. Brett does a terrific job (as he does with all his videos) breaking down the tape and comes away with a rather nice conclusion.
