  • Robbie Ray pitched lights out in a complete game 4 hitter against the Pirates. The Diamondbacks starter had 10 Ks in the shutout victory. This was his 1st career complete game. He also did not issue a walk. This is the 3rd straight start Ray hasn’t allowed an earned run.
  • Josh Donaldson was 2 for 4 with a 2-run HR in a 6-4 Blue Jays win against the Reds. This is his 1st homer since returning from the DL this past Friday. Roberto Osuna pitched a scoreless 9th inning for his 10th save of the year. For Cincinnati, Zack Cozart was 2 for 3 with 2 solo shots. He is hitting .350 with 7 HR and 27 RBI. Billy Hamilton stole a base. Hamilton is leading the majors with 28 SB!
  • Trevor Bauer had one of his best starts in his career in an Indians 9-4 win over the Athletics. Bauer went 7 innings striking out a career-high 14 batters. This was 1 shy of the most Ks in a game this year (held by Stephen Strasburg from this past Saturday). Bauer allowed 3 runs in the win. Bradley Zimmer led the way for Cleveland’s offense. Zimmer was 2 for 4 with a 2-run double and a 2-run HR. Jason Kipnis also homered for the Tribe.
  • Matt Holliday matched Brett Gardner as the pair both had 2 solo HRs in a 8-3 Yankees victory over the Orioles. Both hitter now have 11 homers on the year. Gardner has 34 runs scored on the season while Holliday has been surprisingly good with 32 RBI. Luis Severino was solid in the win. He went 6.1 innings allowing just 1 run while striking out 8. This outing drops his season ERA to 2.93.
  • The Mariners racked up 10 runs on 19 hits in a win over the Rockies. Kyle Seager, who was 1 of 6 Seattle hitter with multi-hit efforts, went 3 for 5 with a HR, 3 R, and 4 RBI. Robinson Cano went 2 for 5 with his 10th HR of the year.
