Target: Taijuan Walker vs. Pittsburgh Pirates ($7300)
2017: 40 IP, 3.83 ERA, 3.37 FIP, 9.00 K/9, 2.70 BB/9, 0.90 HR/9, .247 AVG
Career vs. Active Pirates: .571/.625/.857, 0 HR, 7 PA
Career @ PNC Park: N/A
The Pirates have become one of the best teams to stack against in 2017. They are down Starling Marte and have an Andrew McCutchen who has struggled at the plate. The Pirates own a .661 OPS against right-handers this season which is the second worse in NL. The Pirates have been putting the ball in play this season as they have the 4th lowest amount of strikeouts against right-handers. Walker does own a lifetime 10.0% SwStr over his career, so do not be surprised to see some of the Pirates go down swinging on a Saturday. It looks like quality probable starters for Saturday are at a scarcity. With that being said Chris Tillman ($8300) and Zach Davies ($7200) also look to be have quality starts on Saturday for their respective teams
Stack Against: Nate Karns ($6900) vs. Baltimore Orioles
Nate Karns has had a rough year and it looks to continue against the power hitting Orioles on Saturday. The Orioles power hitters should have a lot of success against Karns as hitters have made hard contact on batted balls 32.3% of the time. Karns may be able to come out with a lot of strikeouts against the Orioles, but the fear of the long ball should keep fantasy players away from him on Saturday.
