Daily Fantasy MLB picks for Thursday April 27

Who should go in your lineup today?

New week means new picks. This can’t get much worse than last week! There is a reduced slate today including matinee games. I am going to set a lineup for the Main evening slot.

Pitcher to Start – Taijuan Walker SP ARI ($7,800)

Walker draws an excellent matchup at home against the San Diego Padres. Recently the Padres have made Zack Greinke look like an ace again. Walker has a reduced cost because his peripherals have been poor. A closer look shows you that he has just been unlucky. He is giving up a .323 BABIP! That will regress and then so will his ERA. He has a 22:7 K:BB ratio. I expect Walker to get his first QS tonight and be a cheap source of points for your lineup.

Pitcher to Stack Against – Jered Weaver SP SD

How long can an 84 MPH fastball be successful in the major leagues? Seriously. How is his changeup effective? There is going to be a team very soon that just demolishes Weaver. I expect that to be tonight with a lineup that features Goldschmidt, Lamb, and Pollock.

Possible Lineup

P – Taijuan Walker

C – Martin Maldonado

1B – Paul Goldschmidt

2B – Adam Rosales

3B – Jake Lamb

SS – Xander Bogaerts

OF – Khris Davis

OF – Mookie Betts

OF – David Peralta
