Need a plan for Thursday’s DFS lineup?

Thursday brings a smaller slate of MLB games. There is less options to choose from, but for the indecisive crowd that can be an advantage.

Pitcher to Target:

James Paxton SP SEA
Fan Duel = $9,000 Draft Kings = $9,600

To date Paxton has been incredible this season. He has faced the Astros twice and the Rangers once. He has 21 straight scoreless innings and is coming off an 8.0 INN 9K 51 FPPG (on FanDuel) start. According to ESPN - hitter matchups for today, the A’s right-handed bats are an absolute horrid matchup against Paxton. Start him with confidence!

Pitcher to Stack Against:

With the lack of a full slate, I am going with a different strategy. Normally the Royals are a good team to stream on, however, I think that Royals lefty bats are a good play. This would include Hosmer, Cain and Moose. I also think Cincinnati Reds right-handed bats are a solid play. This includes Cozart, Suarez, and Duvall. Captain Obvious says, “Stay away from Toronto and Philly hitters today!” They have horrible matchups against stud pitchers.

Sample Lineup:

P – James Paxton

C – Matt Wieters

1B – Trey Mancini

2B – Ryan Schimpf

3B – Eugenio Suarez

SS – Zack Cozart

OF – Adam Duvall

OF – Lorenzo Cain

OF – Ender Inciarte
