Could Jonathan Bernier be the savior for your fantasy team in the playoffs?

5 players below 50% owned who should be looked into owning (Breakaways) and 5 players above 50% owned who are struggling (Benders).

5 Breakaways:

Alex Goligoski (D, Dal) 20% owned. 10 points in his last 13 games and he appears to be one of the few shimmering lights on a team that is destined for a lottery pick.

Jake Guentzel (C/LW, Pitt) 18% owned. He's on a line with Sidney Crosby now. Enough said. Not enough? Ok he has 7 points including 4 goals in his last 7 games.

Nick Schmaltz (C/LW, Chi) 10% owned. He's now on the Patrick Kane and Artemi Panarin line with Artem Anisimov out for 4 weeks. If he can hold that spot, i'd be floored if he doesn't average .7 points per game.

Patrick Maroon (LW, Edm) 30% owned. He gives you about .5 points per game (as he's on Connor McDavid's line), he gives you hits (around 2.5 per game), he's +13 on the season and he gets you PIM.

Jonathan Bernier (G, Ana) 38% owned. This is what the Ducks wanted when they got him last year, he's coming in strong right when they need him. He's allowed 9 goals in his last 6 games going 4-1 with a shutout over that time.

5 Benders:

Kyle Okposo (RW, Buff) 66% owned. This midsection injury is so uncertain, I can't trust his playing ability even if he returned tomorrow. Due to that i'm dropping him and looking elsewhere for playoffs.

Rick Nash (RW, NYR) 73% owned. This is bold but he has 1 point in his last 6 games and something about this upper body injury is spilling into his play. It's not just playing through it, he's clearly not ok right now.

Daniel Sedin (LW, Van) 79% owned. I know it's tough but he could cost you your playoff matchups, especially when there are much better options out there.

Marian Hossa (RW, Chi) 70% owned. He's been dropped to the third line and while I think Tanner Kero (Center on the line) will be a future top 100 player, he has a bit to go yet, drop him for the playoff matchups.

Ben Bishop (G, LA) 85% owned. He has been horrible since joining the Kings. He is hardly in net and when he's played he is 0-1-2 with 8 goals allowed in just 3 games.
