I’ve updated my pass (ROPE Index) and run (RORD Index) defense rankings through week 13 to help you identify which teams to target and avoid in your fantasy match ups this week.
ROPED Index: Week 14
It remains all about avoiding the Jaguars defense with quarterbacks and wide receivers, though they face Russell Wilson this week, who is the league’s number one fantasy quarterback and poses such a threat with his legs. The Eagles’ fearsome front struggled against the Seahawks in week 13 and in fantasy terms, are 10 places lower than their ‘real’ game performances and facing the Rams in week 14, could be exposed by Jared Goff, who is performing as a top 10 quarterback in 2017.
At the bottom, the Buccs and Giants are the teams to target as the worst two fantasy pass defenses, so its a big opportunity for Matthew Stafford (who is on course to play with his bruised hand this week), Marvin Jones and Golden Tate for the Lions and Dak Prescott, Dez Bryant and Jason Witten for the Cowboys.

RORD Index: Week 14
The Eagles run defense remains historically strong and facing the Rams and leading fantasy running back, Todd Gurley, its advantage Philly this week. The Vikings face a tough task with their second rated fantasy defense, as they face the 7th rated fantasy running offense in the Panthers and the triple threat of Cam Newton, Christian McCaffrey and Jonathan Stewart.
This week you should be targeting the Lions and Bills defenses, so opportunities for Peyton Barber to continue his strong form over the last two weeks for the Buccs and then for the Colts, you need to start Frank Gore with Marlon Mack a good potential flex option this week.
