Fantasy Football Rankings: Wide Receivers in Week 15

Week 15 marks the semifinals week, for most leagues, and the start of the playoffs for others. Week 15 also marks the return of the prodigal son, Aaron Rodgers, who will once again be slinging the rock from under center and shotgun for the Green Bay Football Packers.

Since Rodgers’ demise, Davante Adams has improved on a breakout start to his 2017 season and taken the reins as the Packers’ no. 1 receiver. Jordy Nelson has been rendered not much more than a decoy, but will the return of Rodgers reignite the telepathy between the two and resuscitate Nelson’s fantasy value just in time for the playoffs? It’ll be fun to see unfold.

I’d like to point out that you shouldn’t fall in line with the “always play your studs” thinking. For example, A.J. Green is coming off a poor performance against the Chicago Bears and now gets to face Xavier Rhodes and the Minnesota Vikings’ suffocating defense. For another example, Mike Evans has been nothing short of horrible for fantasy owners lately, and the emergence of WR Chris Godwin and TE O.J. Howard have taken away precious looks from him. If you have options with better matchups, don’t hesitate to pull the trigger.
