Fantasy Football Rankings: Wide Receivers in Week 10

Ranking the best wide receivers by matchup and opportunity for Week 10.

If it feels like the wide receiver has been more volatile this year than in previous seasons, that’s because it’s a fact. According to Russell Clay, through Week 9, there are only two wide receivers that have surpassed 130 PPR fantasy points. That number is a whole five players less than the least productive (through Week 9) over the previous 11 seasons.

If, like me, you went into this season by going WR-heavy early in your drafts to ensure week-to-week consistency from your early-round draft picks, you’ve been duped. Some might say “that’s the way the cookie crumbles” or “that’s so fantasy”. I say fantasy football is energy-drenching and incredibly dumb most of the time. But it’s so entertaining and exciting, especially when Robby Anderson is now a WR1 for probably the rest of the season. It was fun while it lasted, Jordy Nelson, Davante Adams and Randall Cobb.
