After getting throttled by the Saints Sunday, the Buccaneers’ Monday didn’t get any better as an MRI revealed damage in quarterback Jameis Winston’s throwing shoulder.
Jameis Winston will be out for at least the next two weeks. He underwent an MRI on his shoulder and it revealed... https://t.co/Q8SJh8WMi1

It doesn’t seem like the damage is structural which is of course a good thing for both the Bucs and Winston.
It’s been a rough season of Winston has many, including myself, thought this would be the year he leapt up into the upper echelons of elite fantasy quarterbacks. Sadly, he’s been quite mediocre this season, having only thrown for 10 touchdowns and 1,900 yards so far this season. Maybe some time off will help get him back on track. Who knows.
What we do know is we’ll be seeing some sweet sweet Ryan Fitzmagic this weekend against the Jets and I for one am all for it.

Don’t forget, the last time Fitzpatrick replaced Winston, it was against the Cardinals, a game in which he threw for 290 yards and three touchdowns. Maybe he’ll muster up an old skool Fitzmagic game against his former team. We can only hope.
UPDATE:
Bucs WR Mike Evans suspended one game for violations of unnecessary roughness. He can appeal.

Looks like Ryan Fitzpatrick will be without Mike Evans next week.
