Welcome to Week 9 NFL action people.
Running back rankings
The top of the fantasy running backs board is back and kicking. Le'Veon Bell is missing this week. Also missing, the bevy of Patriots running backs. The ones who never give you a hint about who might be relevant this week and who disappears.
Wide receiver rankings
Brace yourselves, ladies and gentlemen, because this is a truly debilitating bye week. Six teams don’t play this week, with many important fantasy football assets, like Tom Brady, Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell, Adam Thielen and others, unusable.
If you’re struggling to replace these players in Week 9, take solace in the fact that you’re not alone. Don’t pay too much attention to your team’s projected points. Bye week fill-ins can help you win just as much as your stars can.season.
Tight end rankings
Rob Gronkowski is on a bye this week, but thankfully we still have the services of Zach Ertz and Travis Kelce available to us. Ertz did have a hamstring tighten up on him in practice this Thursday, so if you choose Kelce over him this week I won’t disagree. Ertz has the superior matchup against the Broncos, who allow the third-most points to enemy tight ends. The only caveat is the Broncos have faced far better tight ends than the Cowboys have, including Jason Witten, Charles Clay, Jared Cook, Evan Engram, Hunter Henry, and Travis Kelce.
