Welcome back to another edition! This is a huge week in the NFL for playoff implications. Who would have thought that the game of the week is the Los Angeles Rams vs. the Minnesota Vikings? I definitely didn’t see Goff vs. Keenum as much watch TV in week 11 a couple months ago. This looks to be the final week for Keenum, as Bridgewater will be active again this week as his backup.
A change this week in Buffalo as rookie Nathan Peterman will get the start over Tyrod Taylor. Taylor struggled last week in a game against New Orleans. Peterman came in and did well, but this was also in garbage time. Taylor has been put in a tough situation all season - trading Watkins, injuries to Clay and Zay, new #1 target at the trade deadline with no chemistry. I think Buffalo likes what they have in Peterman, but they are going about it all wrong.
Carson Wentz is good. Can we just leave it at that? This team has to be the favorite to come out of the NFC right now.
No big changes this week to the rankings. The big drop is Tom Savage as he looked horrible in week 10 against a good Rams’ defense. I don’t expect any improvement from him this week with Will Fuller V already ruled out.
