Welcome back to week 5 of the NFL season. The first month of the season has flown by! Week 5 features the schedules first real set of bye weeks. These shake up the rankings a little bit since Matt Ryan, Drew Brees, and Kirk Cousins won’t be taking the field. All other quarterbacks outside of the top 5 seemingly move up and look a little better than they actually are.
A couple new quarterbacks make the list this week. Oakland is starting E.J. Manuel due to Derek Carr’s injury and the Chicago Bears are going to give rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky his first career start. I am looking forward to watching him play against the Minnesota Vikings’ above average defense.
