Welcome to Week 8 NFL action people.
Like Rafiki in the Lion King, I will be quoted as saying, “It is time”. Simba in this case, however, will be Deshaun Watson. It is time for his coronation. Watson has 15 total touchdowns in his last 4 games and I have underrated him for far too long. The biggest mover of the week jumps 11 spots into the top 10.
Running back rankings
Week Eight has the potential for terrible harm to your fantasy football roster. Todd Gurley, DeMarco Murray, and Leonard Fournette lead the list of running backs taking the week off. On the lower end you are also without Aaron Jones, Derrick Henry, Orleans Darkwa and Adrian Peterson. Hopefully you planned well to handle this week.
Wide receiver rankings
Death, taxes and Antonio Brown being the WR1 in fantasy football every single season. The man is unstoppable regardless of whichever starting cornerback lines up across from him.
Speaking of WR1s, Stefon Diggs is expected back this week against the Cleveland Browns. Going into the game he got injured, Diggs was THE WR1 in fantasy football. Here’s to hoping he can stay healthy over the second half of this season.
Tight end rankings
This position remains dicey. After the top eight or so you start to enter timeshare territory (Brate) or guys who play better in PPR formats (Witten). Such is life in the cesspool that is the tight end position, though. So we best get to it.
