Welcome to week 8 of the NFL season! If this NFL season has taught us anything, it is that we don’t know nearly as much as we thought we knew just two months ago. It still has been a pretty fascinating and entertaining few weeks though, hasn’t it?!
Like Rafiki in the Lion King, I will be quoted as saying, “It is time”. Simba in this case, however, will be Deshaun Watson. It is time for his coronation. Watson has 15 total touchdowns in his last 4 games and I have underrated him for far too long. The biggest mover of the week jumps 11 spots into the top 10.
Many of the bottom-tier quarterbacks are moving up this week based on bye week scheduling. In week 7 there were only two teams on bye, whereas week 8 has six teams on bye. Don’t look too far into a raise of 4 spots by quarterbacks who had a down week. I would move them down if I could!
