It’s been a pretty typical, brutal start to this NFL season. Fortunately, for the DFS crowd, we can step around all the injuries when we put together our teams. Here is one of my favorite GPP lineups for FanDuel this week.
Ryan Tannehill $7,400
Miami plays Cleveland this weekend. I expect the Dolphins to win this one comfortably. Since the ‘fins have had a couple of poor performances early in the year, they’ll keep the pedal to the metal against the poor Browns.
Jerick McKinnon $5,300
McKinnon is my salary saver. I’m taking a shot on a new backfield before we know how touches will be distributed. I’m crossing my fingers that we see McKinnon break out with his new opportunity.
Matt Forte $7,500
The always underappreciated Matt Forte is once again killing it. I can’t pass up his matchup this weekend against the Chiefs.
Mike Evans $8,000
Evens is being targeted relentlessly to start the year. The Rams secondary is bad, and Evans’ 8k price tag is a bargain price for that target volume.
Kelvin Benjamin $7,800
Benjamin is a specimen. He’s such a huge man making any matchup one he can win. Add to that, his quarterback is one of the best in the league, and Cam knows any ball he throws up to Kelvin has a chance.
Antonio Brown $9,500
Whenever you have the money to get Brown in your lineup, you should roster him. This week there is plenty of salary to go around, so I’ll take Antonio to finish out my receiver corps.
Dennis Pitta $5,000
Pitta hooked up with Joe Flacco 9 times for 102 yards last week, and Pitta has clearly established himself as the lead tight end for the Ravens. I’ll bet his production continues.
Dan Bailey $4,700
The Cowboys are moving the ball fine, but they are struggling in the red zone. Bailey is a solid, consistent scorer so I like to get him when I have the cash.
Miami Dolphins $4,600.
The Browns. Cody Kessler.
