FanDuel Hidden Gems for Week 3

With so much in flux here in week 3, the time to strike is nigh! Take a look at these value plays for FanDuel before you set that lineup Sunday morning.

Absolute carnage is the only appropriate phrase for the first 2 weeks of this NFL season. Fortunately, for the DFS crowd, that chaos creates opportunity. Check out these FanDuel value plays before you set your lineup on Sunday. Good luck out there!

Sam Bradford: $6,600

Minnesota @ Carolina (-7), +/- 43

The main point here is that at $6,600 Bradford allows spending up at other spots. Sam was a pleasant surprise in his first game with the Minnesota Vikings. He posted a little over 19 FanDuel points and looked good against an at-least-decent Green Bay Packers squad. Carolina’s defense is not as dominant as it was last year (at least not yet), with a couple of questionable outings against a pair of mediocre offenses to start the season. Bradford should be able to put up enough points pay off this pittance of a salary.

Kenyan Drake: $5,900

Cleveland @ Miami (-10), +/- 42

It pains me to recommend Kenyan Drake over Jay Ajayi here. In re-draft I took a few shots on Ajayi, and I liked what Jay put on tape at Boise State. The Miami coaching staff, however, has shown nothing but contempt for playing Ajayi. After unsuccessfully courting CJ Anderson, the Dolphins staff signed an over-the-hill Arian Foster (I’m sorry Arian, I love you), and left Ajayi back in Florida when the team traveled to Seattle to face the Seahawks. This is not a play for cash games, but if you want a an RB with good upside that might not be highly owned, Kenyan’s your man.

Mike Wallace: $6,500

Baltimore (-1) @ Jacksonville, +/- 47

To start the year, we had no clarity at any position outside of quarterback for the Ravens. Going in to week 3, though, Mike Wallace has emerged as the top wide-out for Joe Flacco. We have a classic case of salary lagging behind the performance here. Go ahead and hop on the value as Wallace’s salary will continue to rise as he hands in these nice games.

Dennis Pitta: $5,000

Baltimore (-1) @ Jacksonville, +/- 47

Tight end was another question mark for the Ravens going in to the year. But after a monster 9 catch, 102 yard performance against Cleveland last week, Pitta has cemented his place as Flacco’s favorite target in the offense. Like Wallace, Pitta’s price hasn’t caught up to the performance we’re seeing on the field. Play your Ravens this week!

Dan Bailey: $4,700

Chicago @ Dallas (-7), +/- 44.5

The Cowboys host the beleaguered Bears this Sunday evening, much to the chagrin of football fans everywhere. Dak Prescott is showing great efficiency moving the ball, but the ‘Boys have struggled to finish with touchdowns. Moving the ball well and struggling to score TDs is a situation that a talented kicker like Bailey can take advantage of.

Dallas Cowboys: $4.600

Chicago @ Dallas (-7), +/- 44.5

The Bears are just awful. I don’t want to pile on, but this team has looked like a great team to stream defenses against.
