Reminder: Always double check the lineup card before rosters lock to make sure that a player you've chosen to roster is playing that day, and check the weather to make sure your players won't get rained out of their game.

FanDuel has made some tweaks to their scoring criteria for 2016. Check that out here. FanDuel is also only available to play for money in specific states. See their website for more details to see if FanDuel is playable for cash in your home state.

There are a lot of specific hitters that I want to get into my lineup today, so I'm probably going to use a salary relief play at pitcher. Jeff Samardzija ($8,200) faces the Braves at home in SF. The Braves are the third worst offense in baseball vs RHP by wRC+ at 83 and have the second worst ISO at .132. Samardzija has pitched slightly better in pitcher friendly AT&T park this year and has about an average 4.17 ERA and 4.24 FIP with an 18% strikeout rate this season all together. Samardzija isn't an exciting play, but I'm looking for some run prevention, length and the win with a few strikeouts, which is very possible against a poor Braves team.

Some of the hitters I want to get into my lineup today are the following:

Paul Goldschmidt ($4,200): he faces below average LHP Brandon Finnegan at home in hitter friendly Chase Field. Goldschmidt has a 186 wRC+ and .283 ISO vs LHP this season.

Welington Castillo ($3,200): Castillo also faces Finnegan in a very hitter friendly park and has a 155 wRC+ and .308 ISO vs LHP this year, which are way above average numbers at the catcher position.

Wilmer Flores ($2,500): Flores provides salary relief and has destroyed lefties to a 186 wRC+ and .333 ISO this year. Flores faces Adam Morgan, one of the least effective lefties in the game. Morgan is allowing a .316/.359/.600 line to RHB with a 5.84 FIP this season.

Jose Altuve ($3,800): Altuve, like Goldschmidt, has been one of the games best lefty killers over the last few seasons and has hit LHP to a 197 wRC+ and .238 ISO this year. Altuve faces average to below average LHP Drew Smyly.
