Reminder: Always double check the lineup card before rosters lock to make sure that a player you've chosen to roster is playing that day, and check the weather to make sure your players won't get rained out of their game.
FanDuel has made some tweaks to their scoring criteria for 2016. Check that out here. FanDuel is also only available to play for money in specific states. See their website for more details to see if FanDuel is playable for cash in your home state.
Pitcher
Trevor Bauer ($9,200) is the top option on tonight's slate. He will be going up against a Yankees' squad that owns a .308 wOBA (22nd in MLB) and 88 wRC+ (23rd in MLB) against right-handed pitchers. Let's face it -- the Yankees are no longer the team we all once feared and going from Yankee (Small Park) Stadium to spacious Progressive Field will hurt their numbers even more. Besides facing a not-so-good Yanks' offense, Bauer has been stellar for the Indians. He is coming into this contest sporting a 3.02 ERA that is backed up by a 3.47 FIP, to go along with a 22.3 K%. This kid has made the most of his opportunity in the Indians' starting rotation and I expect tonight to be different. Look for him to deliver a quality start and possibly pick up the W, as he has a red-hot offense behind him.
Hitting
Rockies vs Adam Morgan
Since the start of 2015, Adam Morgan has struggled. He owns an ERA over five to go along with an xFIP of 4.93. This kid has struggled and taking a trip to Coors Field certainly won't help his numbers. The reason why I give the edge to Rockies' bats over the Phillies is because of Adam Morgan. Not only has he had his shares of struggles, but he is also a fly ball pitcher. He owns a 45.5 FB% to go along with a 1.67 HR/9. Those numbers will hurt him badly, so expect the Rockies to put on a show tonight.
Steven Moya ($2,200) is my top hitter of the night. I know this might be a surprise to most of you, but he is just way too cheap! He will be going up against Drew Hutchison who has struggled in the big leagues. Since 2015, he sports a 5.56 ERA and lefties own a .342 wOBA against him. There is no better "value play" on tonight's slate than the 24-year-old.
