Reminder: Always double check the lineup card before rosters lock to make sure that a player you've chosen to roster is playing that day, and check the weather to make sure your players won't get rained out of their game.

FanDuel has made some tweaks to their scoring criteria for 2016. Check that out here. FanDuel is also only available to play for money in specific states. See their website for more details to see if FanDuel is playable for cash in your home state.

Hitting

There are a few pitchers worth targeting with specific hitters. The first one that jumps out is that Nelson Cruz ($4,100), one of the biggest lefty mashers in the game, faces below average LHP Francisco Liriano. Cruz is hitting LHP to a 192 wRC+ and .337 ISO since the start of last year. Liriano is allowing a below average .256/.367/.430 slash to RHB this year with a 5.08 FIP.  Liriano is walking righties at a 14% rate and putting them on base to a 1.66 WHIP.

The second is Jose Altuve ($3,900) against CC Sabathia. Sabathia is actually having a very strong season against RHB, holding them to an OPS under .700, but Altuve is so good against lefties that he's difficult for me to lay off. Altuve is hitting LHP to a 174 wRC+ and .191 ISO since the start of last year with it at a 189 wRC+ and .234 ISO this year. Altuve will also threaten with stolen bases.

Doug Fister is allowing a .277/.348/.515 line to lefties this year with a 5.87 FIP. The Yankees face Fister. Switch hitter Carlos Beltran ($3,700) has been the Yankees best LHB hitter vs RHP this year with a 119 wRC+ and .235 ISO. Brian McCann ($3,300) has been above average for the catcher position with a 106 wRC+ and .192 ISO.

Mike Pelfrey pitches in Fenway Park against the best offense vs RHP. Pelfrey is allowing a .344/.409/.507 line to lefties with a 5.06 FIP, a brutal mark. He is allowing a .313/.381/.454 line to righties with a 5.32 FIP. Jackie Bradley Jr ($3,000) stands out as a strong value play; he's hit RHP to a 154 wRC+ and .291 ISO, both elite numbers. David Ortiz ($4,900) is the best Red Sox hitter vs RHP with a 197 wRC+ and .388 ISO. Xander Bogaerts ($3,400) is affordable and has hit RHP to a 123 wRC+ and .139 ISO.

Red Sox hitters against Pelfrey will likely be my biggest priority to roster today.
