Reminder: Always double check the lineup card before rosters lock to make sure that a player you've chosen to roster is playing that day, and check the weather to make sure your players won't get rained out of their game.
FanDuel has made some tweaks to their scoring criteria for 2016. Check that out here.
Hitting
The best play that jumps out to me today is to stack Cubs lefties vs Rubby de la Rosa. The Cubs lineup is loaded, and five out of their first six hitters bat left handed against RHP. FanDuel only allows four players from one team to be used, but all five of the hitters mentioned below are good options.
Cubs hitters get a park upgrade in Arizona and face a pitcher who has been hideous vs lefties the last two years. In that time, de la Rosa has allowed a .312/.382/.567 slash to LHB with a miserable 6.15 FIP. His strikeout rate falls from 22.5% against righties to 14.5% against lefties while becoming extremely home run prone (2.06 HR/9).
OF Kyle Schwarber ($3,400) is very affordable and has an elite 156 wRC+/.272 ISO vs RHP since debuting last season, and in my opinion is on the verge of becoming one of the game's best young power hitters. With de la Rosa's home run tendencies vs LHB, plus the ballpark, Schwarber is a big threat to hit for power tonight.
Switch hitting 2B Ben Zobrist ($2,700) is hitting third in the order, sandwiched between high on base guys Dexter Fowler+Jason Heward and power hitters Anthony Rizzo+Kris Bryant. He's hit RHP to a 106 wRC+/.138 ISO over the last 2 seasons, about 15% above average for a 2B, and is relatively inexpensive at $2,700. I wouldn't expect much power from him, but there's a good chance he'll bat with runners on base and be on base with big run producers behind him, making run scoring and RBI opportunities look good.
The aforementioned 1B Anthony Rizzo ($4,300) has hit RHP to a 148 wRC+/.253 ISO the last 2 years, with OF Jason Heyward at a 131 wRC+/.150 ISO. Leadoff hitter Dexter Fowler ($3,100) would be the other choice if deciding to not play one of the hitters mentioned above.
