FanDuel NBA DFS value picks for March 15th

1 deal at every position...

Did anyone else know that J.J. Redick (right) is having the best season of his career?

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The season is winding down, you're focusing on baseball.

Admit it.

Well, before you bookmark everything John Sickels can pump out, let me get your head back in the hoops game.

You're welcome.

Let's begin.

Isaiah Canaan, PHI, PG ($3800)

He's been more up than down in March, and last game was a good one: 22 points, 4 3PM, 8/9 FT, 2 STL. He won't be as efficient every night, but good scoring numbers with moderate counting stats has been Canaan's pattern recently. I'd be perfectly happy scooping him up in my 1-guard slot for $3800. Never a guarantee, but one of the safer picks in this budget level for any position tonight...

J.J. Redick, LAC, SG ($4800)

There are cheaper options, but JJ has been on fire. Hasn't scored less than 19 points the last 4 games, with lots of 3s and a few counting stat goodies. He's at a career-high 16.8 PPG on the season, so consistency has been Redick's thing this year. He's also shooting a career high 2.7 3PM this season - at a career-high 47.8% clip. He's quietly having the best season of his career, and the price point is affordable...

Bojan Bogdanovic, BKN, SF ($4100)

On the crappy Nets, somebody needs to score. And that somebody is Bojan Bogdanovic. While this season's numbers are similar to last season, it's his March splits that have me excited tonight: 13.6 PPG, 49.1 FG%, 1.8 3PM, 4.0 REB, 3.2 AST. This could go away at any minute, but for now, ride this hot hand...

Luis Scola, TOR, PF ($3600)

Scola is my lottery ticket of the day. 4 games ago, he scored 21 points in 20 minutes. The next game? A solid 10 & 12 double double. The next 2 games combined? 8 points scored with 2 rebounds. COMBINED. So is Luis Scola efficiency incarnate, or just another benchwarmer? Depends on the night. I'm gonna hope the pattern is 2 awesome games, 2 crappy games, 2 awesome games. If so, he's a solid pick tonight. Extremely volatile, but piles of upside for the price...

Miles Plumlee, MIL, C ($3800)

After a very intriguing sophomore season on the Suns (averaging 8.1 PPG & 7.8 REB), the other Plumlee has been mostly a disappointment. He's been getting some run the last 3 games though, and starting to put up numbers. 12 PPG, 5 REB and 1.0 BLK isn't going to win the day, but the minutes/numbers are trending upwards - which means more could be coming... The C position is thin, so I like Plumlee's upside for only $3800...

So that's 5 guys that could win the day for you - while your competition is thinking about Spring Training.

I mean, sure. Who wouldn't rather be in Florida?

But that's so defeatist.

Although now I want a Mojito.

What was I talking about again?
