I'm loving E'Twaun Moore right now. You should too...
Steven Branscombe-USA TODAY Sports

NBA All-Star Weekend is coming soon, and some rest is desperately needed.

My fingers get so tired.

I'm such a victim.

Let's start.

T.J. McConnell, PHI, PG ($4000)

TJ got his first start of the year (not season), and came up with: 17 points, 7/10 FG, 2 3PM, 2 REB, 6 AST, 2 STL. I believe he is undervalued. His minutes are always volatile, but considering how efficient he was last game, he's worth a shot tonight... For the price, you won't find a better point guard with such a high upside...

E'Twaun Moore, CHI, SG ($4100)

If you're following me on Twitter, you'll notice that I gave love to Moore for his performance last game: 17 points, 7/13 FG, 3 3PM, 2 REB, 7 AST. I think he makes a strong 1-2 punch with T.J. McConnell tonight. He's played over 30 minutes/game the last 6 games, and he's had 2 huge games in his last 3. This party won't last all year (likely), but he's white hot right now. Plug him in...

C.J. Miles, IND, SF ($3700)

One of the most volatile players in the league, CJ is far from a guarantee. Scored 27 points in 21 minutes 3 games ago - after playing terribly all of 2016. Since his 27-point outburst, he's found more quality minutes in the rotation. He could easily slip back to mediocrity (or worse), but he has 30-point upside any night he plays. There's risk here, but also upside. I'm more glass full on Miles this week. There could be reason for optimism tonight...

Mirza Teletovic, PHX, PF ($3700)

T.J. Warren's unfortunate year-ending injury is good news for Teletovic. He's scored at least 14 points in 3 of his last 4 games. His percentages are volatile, but he's fairly steady in points & 3PM. With more usage available, Teletovic has been rock steady recently. I wouldn't expect a huge breakout, but mid-teens scoring with 3s and moderate counting stats is a good return for a tiny investment... He's capable of more too, but temper your expectations.

Bismack Biyombo, TOR, C ($3900)

The C position is quite sketchy in the lower echelons of DFS budget picks. B2 was a double double machine while Jonas Valanciunas was injured, but now he's... unpredictable. 4 games ago, he went 12 & 13 with 3 blocks. Last game? Try 1 point. That's not a typo. He did get 7 boards and a block to go with that one measly point, but it shows you that Biyombo could hurt you as much as help you in certain cats... He had some monster games with JV injured - so there's upside here - but he's far from a guarantee. Only worth rostering if you desperately need to save $$$ in the C slot...

So that's 5 guys that should get you discounted stats.

None of them are in the Dunk Contest, but that's probably for the best.

Do you really want to watch T.J. McConnell try the Birthday Cake jam?

I didn't think so.

Stop making that face.

So not hot.
