30 Day Notice: Pick up Benoit Pouliot

We are in mid February with less than 2 months until the end of the regular season and while I like to think that I'm following who is playing well during the season sometimes players can sneak up on me. Below are trends of players who have scored the most over the last 30 days. I used the % Own column to show any player who is owned in under 75% of leagues.  I bolded certain stats that you should take notice of with explanations below.

GP - Connor McDavid is making big splashes coming back from injury posting 13 points in just 8 games. Meanwhile Chris Kunitz has posted 7 points in just 9 games as Pittsburgh is heating up and playing well under the new system.
Goals - Double digit goals by Crosby and Marchand as both are near or above a goal a game over a month long period.
Assists - Defensemen - Erik Karlsson and Shayne Gostisbehere "Ghost" have been racking up assists. Karlsson is heating up in the heart of the season and Shayne been electric for the Flyers and is showing now signs of slowing down.
Points - Benoit Pouliot has 13 points in just 12 games and is only 22% owned (hint: He's playing on Connor McDavid's line). He had a 4 point game but hasn't stacked them in one lucky game, instead he's spacing them out on a good pace with 1-2 points per game.
Plus/Minus - +13 from Ryan Getzlaf in just 12 games. Meanwhile David Perron has a +11 in just 12 games and is 40% owned. Finally JT Miller is back to playing well with a plus 10 in his last 12 games.
PPP - 8 of the 12 assists by Shayne Gostisbehere have come on the power play. Additionally 2 of his 4 goals have come on the power play.
SHP - Four players - Brad Marchand, Anze Kopitar, David Krejci and Drew Doughty all notched 2 short handed points over the last month, all of them except David Krejci had 1 short-handed goal in those 2 points.
GWG - Artemi Panarin who scored a hat trick last night has 3 game winning goals in the last month
Shot % - This is a double edged sword. It shows who is comfortably finding the back of the net. It also shows who is on an unsustainable pace as 25% is not possible for much longer than a month. JT Miller, Reilly Smith, Andre Burakovsky, Brayden Schenn, Brad Marchand and Sidney Crosby.
Faceoffs Won % - Three people are above 56% and two Jordan Staal and Jussi Jokinen are owned in fewer than 50% of leagues.
