Goals Against - a low ranking means they let in lots of goals (Ottawa is letting in 3.16 goals against per game, they are ranked #1).
Goals for - the lower the ranking the more the team scores (Washington is scoring the most goals for per game at 3.36 and is the number 1 ranking).
So you want to face a team with a low GA and a high GF. This is based off this seasons goals for and against, it will be updated as the season progresses to be a larger aggregate of this year.

Favorable Offensive Matchups:
Anaheim Ducks. Three away matches at Calgary, Edmonton, and Canucks and one home match against Calgary. Calgary and Edmonton are amongst the 5 worst teams. David Perron (29% owned) and Jakob Silfverberg (12%) have been playing well as of late.
Buffalo Sabres. Two away matches against the two worst defensive teams - Ottawa and Columbus and a home matchup against the now surging Penguins. Evander Kane (62% owned) and Sam Reinhardt (6% owned) have had good months.
Montreal Canadiens. Time for them to rebound some. Away at Arizona and Colorado (both in the bottom 10 allowing at least 2.77 goals per game) and home against Philadelphia who has found some scoring lately. Thomas Plekanec (70% owned) and Brendan Gallagher (72%) have had good months.
Unfavorable Offensive Matchups:
NY Islanders. Home against Detroit and Washington and a back to back then after Washington against New Jersey. All top ten defenses. Avoid most of the Islanders this week if you can. Obviously John Tavares must play.
Washington Capitals. LA, Islanders and New Jersey, all of them are allowing fewer than 2.53 goals. You have to play Alex Ovechkin and Niklas Backstrom but some of the ancillary players can sit.
Winnipeg Jets. Not only do they have 3 away matches, all are in the southern area of the US far from home. Carolina, Florida and Tampa Bay. Remember the Florida trips are trying on teams lately.
Favorable Defensive Matchups:
Calgary Flames. Book end matchups against the Anaheim Ducks who have struggled offensively (an understatement) and Minnesota and Vancouver in the middle where Minnesota is having a lot of trouble offensively. Trust in Jonas Hiller this week, he's been playing well.
Ottawa Senators. The terrible teams are having favorable weeks. Buffalo, Carolina and Detroit all at home and all three are scoring fewer than 2.54 goals per game. Craig Anderson will excel this week.
Philadelphia Flyers. Michael Neuvirth is hurt and it's time for Steve Mason to shine. All on the road they play New Jersey, Montreal and Toronto. New Jersey and Toronto are amongst the worst 5 in goals scored with fewer than 2.4 goals per game.
Unfavorable Defensive Matchups:
Nashville Predators. Dallas (3.27), Boston (3.02) and LA (2.79 goals per game) is a rough week for Pekka Rinne and the plus minus for most Predators.
St. Louis Blues. Just like Nashville they have Dallas and LA but they get a slight reprieve in Arizona who is average offensively. It could still be a challenging week for Brian Elliot with Jake Allen hurt.
New Jersey Devils. Cory Schneider is having a Brodeur-esque year (in honor of his number being retired) and this will be tested strongly as they play Philadelphia, Islanders and Capitals. The latter two are in the top 5 and Wayne Simmonds and Claude Giroux are playing well for the Flyers lately.
