One final chance with a full slate of games this season. After this week we will have to look at playoff match ups alone. Facing the difficulties of seeing so many teams without a useful or perhaps a different outcome, we move forward into this final week.
Quarterbacks
Jameis Winston ($6,100) - vs. Carolina (-6.5, O/U 46.5)
Tampa Bay has something to play for, though it is a long shot. The Buccaneers have a possible playoff scenario, but just finishing with a winning season just two years removed from a number one overall pick would be a large achievement for this team. Also, the loss of Doug Martin means there will be an even greater focus on the pass. The Carolina pass defense will not give a huge challenge. Jameis price tag is $1,600 less than Aaron Rodgers too.
Matthew Stafford ($6,000) - vs. Green Bay (+3.5, O/U 48.0)
Stafford has had some substandard weeks recently, but this week he gets a home game against a division rival. The Packers have looked solid on offense and Detroit will likely have to throw the ball and keep pace. The Packers have been susceptible to passing attacks this year. Detroit will also be without Theo Riddick it seems. Count on the Lions focusing on throwing the ball around indoors.
Running Backs
DeMarco Murray ($6,300) - vs. Houston (-3.0, O/U 40.0)
The Titans are out of it, but they get a shot at a team that has just about nothing left to play for as they prepare for the playoffs. Marcus Mariota is gone and the Titans will likely run the ball more.
Latavius Murray ($5,200) - at Denver (+1.5, O/U 40.0)
Denver’s biggest defensive issue is the rush defense. Oakland will also likely lean more on the run game as they start their life without Derek Carr. Murray has been a pretty good running back so far and he should see increased touches this week.
Wide Receivers
Adam Thielen ($5,600) - vs. Chicago (-5.0, O/U 41.0)
Thielen still not be getting you the numbers he saw last week, but he seems to have taken over for Stefon Diggs as the favored target in Minnesota. Chicago’s defense has not been particularly good and the steady, short passing game of the Vikings should keep drives going.
Davante Adams ($5,700) - at Detroit (-3.5,, O/U 48.0)
Adams has had a few drops in recent weeks that definitely hurt his statistics, but he will be going against a weak Detroit defense. While the Lions are middle of the road in yards per game, but their DVOA places the Lions’ pass defense at dead last in the NFL.
Tyreek Hill ($5,600) - at San Diego (-4.5, O/U 45.0)
Hill has a shot in the arm offensively. He has lined up out wide and in the backfield. The Chiefs still have a chance to win their division and they have shown recently that they are willing to push the offense a little more than they have in the past few years. Hill gives Kansas City a great speed threat and he should continue to see plenty of touches.
